(as a parent/guardian),

My son was in for a routine op' and I was very pleased with the care he received.

The staff nurse who took his details, was kind and friendly but also very professional and put both him and I at ease. This helped when we were both a bit uptight and was a good example of compassionate care.

I am delighted that the experience and care that your son received at the IRH was positive and that the staff managed to put both of you at ease. It is always very rewarding for staff when their care is recognised in such a positive way. I will ensure they see you comments.
