Our son spilled boiling water on his lap - it was a nightmare, he was screaming in agony; we rushed him to the MIU and a kindly nurse sorted him out - they were a burns specialist (the medical type, not the Scottish poet), and he sorted our son out with great skill and kindness; then they referred us to the plastics department in Plymouth as they have more facilities there. When we got there, they were ready and waiting with all sorts of experts, and when they removed the bandages to take a look, the injuries had already diminished, which was fantastic, and he's going to be fine, not even any scarring probably. Were it not for the speedy and competent care he received at Bodmin it could have been a lot worse, so we have nothing but admiration, praise and thanks for the nurse there.
"Great burns expertise and awesome kindness"
