"TIA rapid access clinic excellent, helpful and..."

About: Croydon University Hospital

I was today referred to this Open Access TIA clinic by my GP with a suspected minor stroke. The service from the consultant and their nurse assistant was absolutely excellent.I was able to get MRI and ultrasound scans done very quickly.Everyone went out of their way to help and review their findings with clear diagnosis ,guidance and appropriate medication. A mild stroke was identified,a plan for treatment and further appointment plus fitting of 14 day heart monitor took place.I cannot speak highly enough of the care and service I experienced ....Thank you CUH
