What I liked

My wife recently gave birth to our son in the maternity unit at the Princess Alexandra, for various reasons she had to spend 5 days on the various maternity wards and ended up having an emergency c-section. Following this experience we have nothing but praise, the staff on the wards from orderlies to midwives to doctors were all excellent and these wards a clearly superbly run. Having numerous friends who have given birth in a wide range of hospitals, our experience of the level of care in PAH shows it to be way above most hospitals.

What could be improved

The buildings themselves could clearly be improved and modernised.
