I am 77year old female and on mon 14th Aug at 4 45 pm I was brought into A&E with a badly burnt face. Eventually I was assessed and told to take a seat. I sat there with my face in a wet cloth until 9 45pm. During this time many patients came and were treated and left. The doctor tha saw me just looked and said they would ring Bradford, after about 20 mins they returned and said it should be Pinderfields and they would ring for an appointment for me. After about another 20 mins they came back with an appointment for the following day.I asked if there was any cream to put on it and they said vasallne but did not offer me any. In my oppinion and the staff at Pinderfields said I should have been sent there immediately.
The whole of my left side of my face and neck are blistered and I think earlier tretment would have helped. Instead of sitting there in .a lot of discomfort for 5 1/2 hours to get no treatment at all. Yours Pauline Berry
