"Urgent visit to A & E"

I took my husband to A & E at 6pm with shortness of breath and pain in his leg. Within 2 hours he was seen and assessed by a Doctor who took bloods.

We returned at 12 the next day for the CT scan and was immediately sent to major A & E unit where he was treated very quickly for DVT and then transferred to a ward.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff in both the minor and major sections of A & E.
