"Disorganised hospital. Staff rude and..."

Every time I visit I am left feeling disappointed and angry. Administrators are disorganised, brusque and have little care for private or sensitive information. Consultant rude and disrespectful to staff.

Porters barged in without knocking when I was undressed. Nurses sat on my bed post operation - made me sit on a chair. No air conditioning (it was 38') and they were re-laying the floor outside with resin during my visit. Physiotherapist did not give me the correct sling post surgery and did not explain anything (should have explained sling operation, how to shower and dress and the necessary exercises). Appointments not made. Ultra sound department support staff were rude (not the receptionists) and mauled me. The Dr was scruffy, grumpy and unprofessional. The doctor couldn't wait to get me out of the door. Left feeling like an annoyance. No opportunity given to ask questions. When I did, it was discouraged "why do you want to know that?". Was treated disrespectfully and in a way that lacked basic courtesy or care. I have never felt so powerless or without control. Shameful.
