The reason I want to thank the Dumfriesshire STARS team is I am key holder for someone who has had more than his fair share of troubles. The story relates to my experience of a team of carers who carry out a remarkable job of work looking after people like him. The gentle, considerate care and attention to detail witnessed while helping this person is a credit to the entire team at STARS, East Dumfriesshire.

Demonstrating care and compassion while encouraging individuals to regain their confidence and abilities are skills we try hard to get right. It is encouraging to hear we have got it right for this gentleman and for yourself.
