"Gall bladder"

About: Kettering General Hospital / General surgery

Just home after my recent op to have my gall bladder removed, this was done by keyhole surgery I had my pre op assessment at corby diagnostics and was informed I could go there for my pre op blood tests. Very easy straight in and out parking a little tricky but as people are coming and going a bit of patience and we were parked.

Op day came arrived at the treatment centre bright and early, care and attention was brilliant nothing was too much trouble, my case wasn't straight forward due to having a pacemaker and taking Warfarin so a lot of planning was taken. Theatre staff lovely eased your worries I had to stay an extra 24 hours just to make sure all was ok. ALL staff were wonderful lovely consultant. When the consultant came to check their patients for that day they came straight to me and said I'll be with you soon and as soon as I have sorted my list for Thursday and then came and checked me out ordered blood tests which they wanted to see the results of before I was allowed to go home. I waited 10 months for this op but you have to say to yourself there is always somebody worse than yourself keep up the good work KGH.
