"They really are great listeners"

About: Chilwell Children's Centre

(as the patient),

I have been going to talk to volunteers at Chillwell Surestart centre footsteps. This has really helped me so much for people to listen and help with suggestions if needed. They really are great listeners and have felt so much better each time I have gone. My husband was away and I really did not feel confident to leave the house as sometimes it has been a real struggle. Footstep helped as there was somewhere to go and people to talk with. With my daughter we have visited together and they even play with her which is nice so we can talk. For me I would recommend this to anyone as it's so nice to go somewhere and talk not be judged and it's helped me to get everything I have been feeling down about out in the open. The staff are so friendly and they just have been great. Thank you footsteps staff

Dear TH65,

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on this, it is also great to hear when people have benefitted from using our services.

Footsteps is a fabulous resource that aims to support parents who just need to talk, supported and delivered by volunteers with the help of dedicated Children's Centre staff.

I hope you and your family continue to build on your confidence and continue to move forward.

Thank you

Tina.
