"Spinal Operation to Remove Disc."

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I was admitted to Queen Alexandra Hospital on Monday, 31 July 2017 to undergo an operation to remove a slipped disc in my spine. From start to finish including the procedure itself it's all run smoothly and I found the staff to be extremely helpful.

Many of the nurses are my world D5 worked a 12 hour shifts and even on the 12th hour still maintained a professional and caring bedside manor!

My heart goes out to the members of our NHS service for their long hours and hard work for little pay and recognition! Hopefully I will never require their services again!! However I would highly recommend!!

Thanks again

Will

Dear William

Thank you so much for leaving us your lovely feedback. It was so nice to read about your experience and to learn that from start to finish everything ran smoothly and that you found the staff extremely helpful.

I will share your comments with the Teams involved as I am sure they will be delighted to receive them. This will also help other people who may see your comments to feel reassured about having to come into hospital, so a big thank you from all of us.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you well for the future and a quick recovery.

Kind regards.

Debbie
