Just returned from appointment at Dermatology for some BCC skin cancer on my back and very pleased with the service.
The whole pathway worked well - GP and hospital. I went to my GP who diagnosed the condition and put me on the 2 week wait cancer pathway. Four hours later I got a phone call from the hospital making the appointment (which was *exactly* two weeks later). It was a 9am appointment. Arrived at 0835 so there were plenty of places in the car park. Checked in and only waited 5 minutes being called to see the consultant. I have had BCCs treated on my back before. I needed Liquid Nitrogen treatment on the new BCCs, which was quick. When we got back to the car, we found that we had been so quick that we didn't even have to pay for the car park!
Everyone was polite and friendly.
