Maternity services treated me like a donkey brained idiot without the ability to think for myself. Midwives were constantly interrupting me and the doctor involved in my care at my last clinic. The doctor was great this time. Previously Questions were not answered openly or honestly by other doctors and midwives.

The manager of ANC thought I'd had a previous C section and told me to just turn up to the clinic to keep everyone happy. Ive never had a c section and was this a threat of consequences if I didn't do as told? I felt that asking questions was an annoyance with most staff. I'm extremely worried to give birth here now for fear of being ignored by hen I speak and my consent for procedures not being obtained. All appointments have been between 25 minutes and 2 hours late. Worst of all is I work at this hospital and I can't believe how terrible, revolving door and lack of respect and autonomy the care is. I have nowhere to complain for fear of losing my job. I love my job.

I suppose I'll just have to do as I'm told, with no information and hope my baby is ok in the end!
