"Relaxation Class - AMH"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as the patient),

I attended the relaxation class run by Geraldine at AMH around 33 weeks pregnant. I found the class extremely invaluable. I was quite nervous to attend the class however Geraldine's warming welcoming made me feel at ease. We practised different relaxation techniques in the class as well as learning about them. I used the techniques during labour, I found this very useful especially during the early stages coping at home. I had a straightforward labour and birth using the relaxation techniques and the gas and air. I highly recommend this class to all pregnant women. I feel it would be beneficial if there were more classes during pregnancy as it was a great class.
