Came in today after calling 111 and being advised to visit the hospital within 1 hour of making the call. I went in and the receptionist quizzed me on questions which weren't appropriate for them to be asking. Like 'you're 20, are you still at secondary school' and 'do you still live with mummy'. The receptionist continued to mock me asking me questions about my injury and previous injuries if had in front of the other patients that were waiting. Which was embarrassing. I was left waiting for an hour before anyone saw to me because there were three nurses and a receptionist having a laugh in the exam room, you could hear them. The nurse then asked why I hadn't taken my painkiller, to which I told them I had, the nurse then said the receptionist had said I'd refused to take it. The whole situation was embarrassing and I feel this isn't good safeguarding to be mentioning my condition aloud in front of other patients.
"Rude receptionist thinks they're a doctor."
