I had a crash on my bike and landed heavily on my shoulder. The next morning there was painful and restricted mobility. I attended Warrington A& E and was triaged to minor injuries. In the next hour, I was seen, x-rayed, wound dresed and collar and cuff fitted by a fantastic nurse practitioner. Having envisaged hours of waiting, I was pleasantly suprised. How lucky we are to have high quality " free at the point of access" healthcare.
