"Fantastic care"

About: BPAS Richmond CC/Clinic

I came to this centre for a medical abortion before 10 weeks and was treated so well by the staff. On arrival I was unsettled as a result of the anti abortion protesters outside but the clinic itself was a safe haven. I was treated so nicely and with dignity from the moment I stepped in.

I was waiting a little after my initial appointment time but didn't really mind that. The nurses I was seen by were all lovely as well as efficient, they clearly knew what they were doing and cared about providing a good service. I was seen by a nurse who was particularly nice and was able to answer any questions I had with ease. None of the nurses made me feel uncomfortable in any way and even the nurses I wasn't being seen by made sure to smile at me in the hallway which was comforting.

The clinic was very efficient, after the scan I was sent to another waiting room but waited only around 15 minutes and was treated swiftly thereafter. The nurse here was also lovely and took time to explain everything including all the medicines in detail and when to take them ect.

All in all, they well exceeded my expectations and I'm glad I chose such an excellent clinic, they made a difficult decision easy.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

I appreciate how upsetting walking past protesters can be, but happy to hear that you were supported by staff.

We are very grateful for your comments and I do hope you are well.

Best wishes, Pam Field, BPAS Client Engagement Manager (email: clientservices@bpas.org).
