"I think it should be a women's only ward."

About: Royal Oldham Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

After my baby was born I was sent to a ward with other new Mums, who had their partners there and they was aloud to stay the night, for me this is uncomfortable as I am a single parent.

In my opinion I think it should be a women's only ward. I spoke to a member of staff who was very understanding and moved me to my own room.

We welcome suggestions from the women who use our maternity service, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am pleased to hear that the staff on the ward listened to your concerns and were able to move you to a single room.
