"My intensive care experiance"

About: Southmead Hospital

After an extremely nasty horse riding accident it resulted in me spending 3 1/2 days in ICU at Southmead due to sustaining grade 4 lacerations to my liver as well as fractures to my clavicle, 4 ribs and pelvis. The care that I recieved was amazing, the nurses made me feel so comfortable and happy, I would like to thank the team that looked after me but more significantly a nurse who took care of me for 2 consecutive days in the ICU department, the nurse was so lovely and made me feel so comfortable. This department is amazing and I couldn't have been in a better place!

It must have been a very scary time for you, but it is good to know that the care you received from the staff made you feel comfortable and happy.
