I have had DCR surgery in December at heartland is was I feel was a complete disastrous from pre op which was held at Solihull hospital. Where they weight me with coat and bag so was some what heavier than I actually am.
The antheatist put the anaesthic in my flesh not my vein and it just want on and on . Got sent home with temperature and heart rate racing, ended up in a & e with pneumonia.
Got to go back in for other side now and the disaster starts again had pre op again at Solihull with a nurse that was unable to complete half the test. Had a phone call to something wrong with bloods needed them done again so I did the pre op nurse was calling back will result as urgent.
guess what? 10 days later and still waiting, got surgery soon and to say expect everything to go wrong is to say the least.
