About: Bradford Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

It's the first time I have had to visit A&E in a long time & the first time since it has been renovated. It was clean, the staff were friendly, professional & patient. I was assessed within 30 minutes of arriving and although I did have to wait over an hour to see a doctor I was happy the I had been assessed, seen and sorted within 2 hours.

It was on the whole a much more pleasant experience than in the past. Thank goodness for our NHS.

Dear Mrs W, thank you for your feedback, we really welcome hearing about the experience of our patients and their families or carers, it is invaluable for us in understanding what we are doing well and where we need to make changes or improvements.

I will send it on to the senior staff in the unit to share with their teams, and they will be very encouraged by it. We are pleased that we have been able to carry out these renovations and make the environment in A&E not only more pleasant for people but a better environment to support good clinical care. I do hope you are now feeling better and remain in good health.
