My 6 year old daughter has recently been treated for a UTI in ward 15 of Dumfries Royal infirmary. Staff from cleaners and porters right through to the consultants were absolutely fantastic. Nurses were all friendly, bubbly and welcoming. Doctors were thorough and more than happy to discuss their thoughts and treatment plans and answer any questions I had regarding her condition.

My only complaint would be the delay in getting sensitivities back from the lab which I know was frustrating staff as much as me as it did delay getting getting my daughter on the most suitable antibiotic.

I'm pleased to say my daughter is on her way to recovery now and we can't thank everyone on ward 15 enough for making her time in hospital as comfortable as possible. A wonderful team of professionals.
