"Practice nurse"

This review is primarily about practice nurse at Upperthorpe Medical Centre. The nurse is not only an asset to the centre but to the nursing profession in general. I have seen this nurse 3 times in the last 2 years - 2 for cervical screenings and recently for a pregnancy related whooping cough vaccine. In order to summarise this review, I will just say that as a woman, if the nurse had not been so warm, kind and professional, I never would have gone back for another screen. The nurse made the experience bearable and as cervical cancer kills, I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that the nurse had the potential to save my life.

I could go on but I really don't have the adequate words to praise your nurse enough. I know it's easy to take for granted the free medical care we receive in this country however the nurse's care for their patients is beyond anything we are privileged to receive. NHS staff are not appreciated enough.
