"Exceptional Service!"

About: General Practices in Grampian Inverurie Hospital / Minor Injuries

(as a relative),

I would like to take this opportunity to praise the system NHS Grampian has set up for diagnosing and treating potential melanomas.

My father saw his GP in Kemnay regarding a new mole that looked suspicious on Monday, a picture was taken and by the middle of that week he was telephoned with an appointment for the following Wednesday at the minor surgery clinic in Inverurie.

He attended today, mole excised and stitched up under local and has been sent off to pathology. Dr Gordon, Miss Davies & treatment nurse gave exceptional care!

Dear Balmedie Quine,

Thank you for sharing your dad’s story. I’m glad that things have gone smoothly for him – it must have put his mind at ease (and yours) knowing that he was seen and treated without delay.

I will make sure that your kind comments are passed to the staff at both Kenmay Medical Group and the Minor Surgery Clinic in Inverurie - in particular Dr Gordon, Miss Davies and the treatment nurse who I’m sure will be touched that the care and treatment they provided was really appreciated and deserved a special mention.

I hope your dad’s stitches are healing well.

Take care,

Kirsten
