"A true example of caring professionals."

About: Langley Green Hospital

(as the patient),

They absolutely restored my faith in asking for help.

My friend made me go to hospital where I met a member of the team.

Endless suicidal thoughts and everything seemed pointless.

Within 21 days my confidence has risen and they have allowed me to feel independent and a person rather than a number.

There was no tick box nursing here with the crisis team.

Regular contact and working with me safely and not panicking at how low I felt. Over the 21 days I felt gradually better and they helped me find solutions rather than telling me what would work for me.

They took me from out of area with no complaint and I left the service with a lasting impression of the service and the individuals that work there.

I have experienced services in London that just did not come close.

Each and everyone a credit to the trust and a true example of caring professionals.

They should be a benchmark for all trusts.

Thank you very much for taking the time to tell us your experience in our crisis services. I am not sure which crisis team you saw so I am going to tell our Chief Nurse Diane Hull about your comments so she is able to talk with all the crisis teams about the difference they can make

kind regards

Rachael Kenny
