(as a relative),

Recently had a family member on drum ward. Very happy with the care that they received and also as an anxious relative I felt very well supported! The staff were friendly and extremely professional! I don't think enough credit is given to the staff who work in very stressful situations and yet continue to offer such high standards of care.

As an organisation we feel that relatives are a hugely important part of any patient's care and I’m glad you felt supported. Being in hospital can be just as worrying for family members as it is for patients so I’m happy to hear the care your relative received helped you feel less anxious.

Your lovely comments are really appreciated and I’m sure will provide reassurance to all the staff on Drum Ward that even in stressful situations their friendliness and professionalism still shines through.
