I was fortunate enough to be a guest of Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield. I say fortunate because I received fantastic treatment and unending care from all the staff in wards 14 and 17. It was touch and go, with my condition, in fact the head surgeon said I was a lucky man. All the staff at Good Hope work under extreme pressure, and they are required to do everything, including moving furniture and emptying rooms for more space to accommodate more beds, as well as their cleaning, nursing and consulting roles! I cannot praise them enough. Without their care and attention I don't think I'd be writing this now.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding the care and treatment you received on Wards 14 and 17 at Good Hope Hospital, earlier this year.

It is lovely to read that you felt you received fantastic service and I agree with you, all the staff work extremely hard under extreme pressure, so it is nice for them to receive the well-deserved recognition.

I appreciate that being an inpatient can be a very worrying and anxious time; however I am pleased that with medical and nursing staffs care and attention, you recovered from your illness.

I will be delighted to forward your posting the senior management teams for Wards 14 and 17 and I will ask that it shared with the staff, as I am sure they will be absolutely delighted to read your positive comments.
