"I cannot praise them enough for the care and the support"

I had hepatitis C for the last 40 years.

I was under a hospital in Essex when I went for my yearly appointment s, I was always told I minimal damage but in 20 years I had 1 scan.

When I questioned why not more was not being done I felt like I was fobbed of. Then I was told about basildon NHS that they where really treating people with Hepatitis C. So I transferred to basildon hospital after my interview I was approved for treatment.

Now after my treatment I just had a 6 month blood test I am hepatitis C free. The help and support I have had from docter wright and all the liver nurse was excellent I can not thank them enough.

Knowing that they where there at the end of a phone to reassure me. Through my treatment I found out that I also had the T B virus which has also been treated..I cannot believe how one hospital done nothing yet Basildon hospital within a year have treated me of 2 serious virus. The docter and the liver nurse have really changed my life I cannot praise them enough for the care and the support I have had from them
