"Additional Information regarding Allergic Reaction"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Dermatology University Hospital Monklands / Urology (Ward 6)

(as the patient),

I have already submitted story regarding allergic reaction to the pill, given by urologist. This is follow up story regarding said reaction, skin damage caused and in April17 finding out I was B12 deficient which I was in December 16 although I had not been informed. It also refers to appointment I had with said Consultant who issued me in good faith where surprisingly I was taken aback because of information I was able to put to her regarding pill and B12 deficiency and part played by both of them in the skin damage and urinary problems I have (although majority of consultation will remain private).

From medical expert's information I was able to state that this pill had caused me much problems that had never occurred with previous drugs I had taken over the many years before. Also I was able to state that the B12 deficiency could cause similar symptoms I had been seeing Urologists for. That is not repeating previous story of 'Allergic Reaction' but simple truth of how I was affected by by both.

The consultation didn't go as expected through no fault of mine, simple fact which disappointed but I will attend and take part in what Consultant proposed with appointment being made even although test has been done several times before by other Consultants.

As a patient from information given to me by Doctors in this hospital which from results taken certain things were supposed to occur but because I was ill it not go ahead. This was not my fault or that I was not keen but simple fact of complex situation of ill health longterm. The past six months has been a terrible period aggravated by use of pill and B12 deficiency. Simple fact told honestly not as criticism but purely in surprise of proposal which as patient I will attend but after all years of medical treatment I was preparing myself for more as previously informed by Doctors but at that time unable to go ahead because of other illness not as suggested my choice.

On Patient Opinion a patient should be able state factual evidence whether it is complimentary or otherwise as a person I am a great supporter of NHS all help given by dedicated staff.
