"Disappointed in attitude of some staff."

Attended Old Swan this morning , Sunday 28th May between 7-8 am , lovely promt service from receptionist, didn't wait too long and were then seen by two nurses , a lovely nurse who couldn't be nicer to us and explained everything. As for the other nurse who was typing at the computer I can only express my concern at their attitude , they never once looked up at us , asked questions with their back to us and then when the nurse could be bothered to look at the skin infection behind my daughters ear was very dismissive and made us feel like We should not have bothered going to walk in. The other nurse actually said no it needs treating!.My daughter has had this infection before and it becomes very aggressive always requiring antibiotic treatment which I tried to explain , as it was bank holiday weekend I was hoping to prevent this. They prescribed an ointment which again I explained She had used previously but does not work, they then said again without bothering to look at us that they wouldn't prescribe antibiotics. We are well aware of the overuse of antibiotics , I am a nurse with 30 years experience and quite frankly would be appalled if I made anyone walk away feeling like this nurse made us feel. Their attitude is uncaring and unprofessional . The rest of the staff were a credit to our NHS it's a shame that one person is letting this service down, reading from your reviews I don't think we are the only one with concerns . This matter should be addressed. This would not be tolerated in the Trust that I am employed for.
