"jaw surgery review"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Its now 3 years after surgery at Leicester royal, all the services leading up to and during surgery were great,my only problems are the permanent numbness and weard feelings you are left with, also I started off with an open bite and now I have an over bite and smaller openbite,if you are considering jaw surgery think long and hard about it,my surgery went well and I'm still left feeling like I need more surgery to fix my overbite /open bite, probly should have no bothered,as I'm feeling like I'm just back at the start of the road again,it was 3 years in braces leading up to surgery and about 1 year after.its a long long road ,to feel like you just created another problem,I wouldn't bother unless your bite is very very very bad

Dear reviewer,

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your comments. We are happy to hear about the level of care provided to you by our staff up to and during surgery. We are, however, sorry to hear of your problems following surgery and would like the chance to discuss this with you further. If you would like to do so please send us your name, NHS number and best contact details to lisa.e.osborn@uhl-tr.nhs.uk.

Kind regards,

Lisa Osborn
