"I found this really frustrating"

(as a service user),

2 weeks ago I required an emergency appointment so I called at 8am expecting to wait for a while to get through which is fine however rather than being put in a queue to wait for somebody to answer the phone, I had to ring 58 times, one after the other, as the person on the other end seemed to be cancelling my call every time (it wasn't an engagaed tone just a ring out then a dead tone). I used a different phone to make sure there wasn't a problem with my mobile but it also did the same.

I found this really frustrating as it meant I couldn't have an emergency appointment with a GP & had to see a nurse instead (who was lovely but couldn't really do anything to help). The process also delayed me in being able to update my employer.
