Having the structured day activities coordinator on the ward has made a massive difference to keeping the patients occupied with different activities mon-fri. This is what we have needed since I have been at Arnold Lodge. All wards should have this as it stops patients from getting bored, upset, annoyed and overthinking things, I really enjoy this and other people do as well. Thank you very much!

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback regarding the Structured Day Coordinators. In total we now have 5 Structured Day Coordinators in post who work across all three directorates. The importance of having meaningful occupation in addition to therapy sessions throughout the day is widely acknowledged by patients and staff alike, it promotes emotional regulation, reduces boredom levels and promotes a sense of community on the ward.
