"Arnold Lodge involvement training"

About: Arnold Lodge Regional Secure Unit

(as the patient),

We have had the Involvement Staff and volunteers here today. We have been working on how to attend a Patient Forum. We found how to gain more conference more knowledge and how this could link back to Ward community meetings. We also worked on how to chair a meeting. A good interesting day.

Perhaps some role play would have been helpful

Thank you for attending the training event looking at how to be a representative for your ward at forums and how to chair a meeting. The aims of the session included learning new skills and enhancing confidence and it seems that these were achieved from reading your posting which is extremely positive.

Thank you to our Involvement Team colleagues for facilitating this worthwhile day.

Thank you also for raising the point that role play would have been helpful, we will ensure that is incorporated in to the next planned training event in June which is interview training.
