4 years ago I was diagnosed as a Asthmatic with Bronchiecstasis! After never having smoked or taken medication other than the odd paracetamol I found this very hard to take on board so I went along with my husband to his cardiac rehab and the ladies explained that if I wished I could join in to they also checked me over medically and actually spoke to me about how I was feeling and this helped a lot. I now join in with the exercises they get you to try and they monitor you constantly to check your not over doing it. At the class I attend the nurses or Physios are all female and I have to say are all on the ball caring and worth their weight in gold. I'm lucky because I can talk to my husband but there are people who are by themselves and these ladies are there to answer their questions and concerns without making them feel inadequate This rehab class is held in Ayr and these ladies are just amazing and as well as all their help you really enjoy the hour and a half you spend in their company as you come away feeling energised and knowing you have sorted out any worries that have been on your mind Thank you girls
