"They make you feel at ease"

I found the Perinatal service excellent before the birth of my daughter. Lots of plans were put in place in case of emergency, steps on what to do and the after care was excellent with a 6 month follow up with a team compromising of a doctor and nurse. The nurse Angela was excellent she visited me at home on many occasions to ensure both mum and baby were doing well not anxious and made sure I was not stressed. She liaised with the doctor and had weekly meeting to ensure I was ok after giving birth to my baby to ensure I did not have a relapse of stress and anxiety that occurred after the birth of my first daughter. I would highly recommend this service to women giving birth and who are at risk of having mental health issues. The women Dr and nurses are very approachable, good listeners and make you feel at ease.
