"Disorganised"

I made an appointment to see the nurse as i had requested a check of my lung capacity since i had stopped smoking. I simply wanted to know the condition of my lungs.

And at a later date have another check to see the improvement. I thought this was a good idea and would encourage me to continue stopping. After waiting almost half an hour which I don't mind, I saw the nurse. But the machine was not working and they had to get a nurse to fix it. Further delays the nurse arrived and then questioned why i was having this done and basically overruled my request. This was such a simple request and after waiting for such a long time I was highly annoyed. It was embarrassing for me and the other nurse, whom I have to thank.

Some weeks later it was arranged for me to attend to see the same nurse regarding my B12 injections which I had already completed the 5 injections. I thought i was called in to have my blood checked. On arrival I was asked if I had brought the B12 with me I explained that I had already completed the course of 5 injections. So this meeting turned out to be yet again a total waste of my time.

Another occasion It was arranged for me to pick up prescription from the clinic on arrival I was told to go to another desk counter from there i was told to go back to the first counter. Where I was told that the medication was ready to pick up from the pharmacy just up the road from the clinic on Dundas street [the green painted pharmacy I was told].

On arrival at the pharmacy I was told no medication was ordered for me, they phoned the clinic and it was established that the medication was to be picked up from the pharmacy on Roker avenue from where i obtained the medication.

This collection of issues highlights how disorganised the clinic is and i am not happy

I would also like to add that the visits I have had to see the Doctor have been excellent

But the admin side is poor.
