"Hip replacement surgery"

I have suffered from knee problems for years having been refused any effective treatment by another hospital in Liverpool. After struggling in pain for eminded many years i was after an intial assessment initiated by my GP I was reffered to the spire hospital. After meeting the Consultant who was excellant the correct diagnosis was made the primary problem was my left hip.

I am a health care professional myself and it just reminded me how important it is to make the correct diagnosis and for the first time i had it.

The surgery soon followed the clinical care i recived was excellant. As a nurse myself i appreciated the surgery and the recovery.

Physio was great. But it also reminded me that at this stage you need to take responsibility for your recovery.

The Spire certainly did their job. Correct diagnosis. Correct treatment. Programme of recovery.

I have been able to return to work on a part time basis having previously had to retire on health grounds.

Thank you to all the staff involved there.

For me it was life changing in a very positive way.
