"F6"

About: Frimley Park Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I was admitted to F6 for elective knee surgery, I was welcomed with a smile even though it was 7am. The bed was ready for me straight away, I was told I would be going to theatre at 9am, at 8.55 I was collected and taken. The theatre staff were amazing and put me at ease, thank you for letting me hold your hand. The nurse who looked after me in recovery was so lovely and knew I was in pain without me saying anything. The F6 team are a team to be very proud of, everyone was welcoming and friendly. The student nurse, who has only been there for 3 days was a little superstar, they will make a great nurse. The only downside about my stay, was the way the food was presented, I think soup should be served in a soup bowl, not a stainless steel bowl, I understand that its to keep it warm but it just doesn't look very nice or appetizing..

Dear Jayne

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your visit for your knee surgery.

I'm pleased to read you had a positive experience.

I have passed your comments onto the teams that looked after you.

I also note your comment about the soup bowls and have passed that onto the Catering Manager too.

I wish you well in your recovery

Kind Regards

Claire Marshall
