"Knee op and service with a smile"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was to walk in for surgery and walk back out again. This didn't go to plan due to finding more damage when they opened the knee up.

They tell me everything went well and that I trust but no walking for 6 weeks and off work for about 10 weeks or so.. My story? My experience? Well it's a good one all round!

Just want to thank everyone who took care of me 10/10 service with a smile and a joke, what's more enjoyable than laughter 😊

So everyone who took the time for me at Queen Margaret Hospital thank you! 👊

Dear Bjmartin,

How disappointing for you that things have not gone to plan, although it sounds like you have been really needing the surgery. For you to report that you had a good experience all round is good to hear and It's nice that you have a positive attitude as a longer than expected recovery must be quite daunting. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience and acknowledge the service was a smiley 10/10. I will make sure all the staff involved in your care see your post. Your appreciation will be most welcomed.

Best wishes to making a full recovery

Esther
