"They looked after me well"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I seen dr acharya in jan and he gave me an open appointment to decide if I wanted a laparoscopy and I went away and decided I did. I had my pre op and op within two weeks of deciding. So had my surgery yesterday. He listened to me as I told him exactly where my excruciating pain was and both him and his colleague came to see me after my surgery and said they had found endometriosis which we has suspected all along. It was such a relief. The nurses and anesthetists were all great and they looked after me well. Thank you!

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Shannong,

I am so glad you can stop worrying now. I understand why it must have been such a relief. We do worry when we have pain and don't understand why or what is causing it and out mind goes into overdrive.

I will be happy to pas this to the team, they will be delighted with such good feedback. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience.

best wishes,

Eunice
