Carted off to the Southern General (sorry, can't bare to use the "new" name for the place, in this patient's opinion it should never have been changed! ) early hours of Easter Monday with chest and back pains in the back of an ambulance and simply wanted to commend the ED Service/Staff and in particular the Dr (sorry, I've a poor memory for names) who did the exam and diagnosis for both his professional manner but his overall "bedside manner" which was for me at least spot on and just what it should be - calm, caring and effective.
Diagnosed with probable gallstone so relived for sure but the experience made all the more "comfortable" but the speed and way that I was looked after.
Please pass on my thanks too to those behind the scenes who are all part of the process that got me in and out and back home by 7am tired and sore but relived!
