I had to visit Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline because the waiting list at RIE Edinburgh was so long and I had to get three buses there and back again. The care in Queen Margaret hospital was very good I was given all the information regarding my procedure and treated with courtesy and respect all of the time. During the procedure the nurses talked to me and each other so the conversation took my mind off of what the doctor was doing. After I was given time to rest and then given a sandwich and a cup of tea which was very welcome and as I had a headache I was given paracetamol. I even had a chat to the manager of the unit and she was very friendly and asked a lot of questions about me so I felt quite at ease. On the whole the level of care was very good the only down side was the traveling to and from the hospital.
