About: University Hospital Monklands / General Medicine (Wards 2,10,12 and 17) University Hospital Monklands / General Surgery (Wards 4 & 7)

(as the patient),

I had a stoma bag fitted. after the procedure I felt really ill but during my stay of eleven days I was treated with kindness I couldn't have asked for better care from my surgeon Mr McDonald and his team who sorted out complications during surgery to the cleaners I was in the critical care ward and wards seven and four I received excellent care in all wards and a special thanks to my stoma care nurses isabell and Tracy who are still looking after me

I was sorry to hear how ill you were during your admission to hospital. I know the team in surgery, including the stoma nurses will be gratified that their contribution to your care was received so positively. I will make sure that they are aware of your comments.
