"Birthing Centre"

I have always heard negative reviews about newhma maternity unit but having my first baby on 03.04.2017 experience at the birthing centre I felt I had to write about what a lovely experience I had.

My midwife stayed with me throughout my whole labour. The midwife was amazing and so supportive. Me and my husband were both new to the experience and the midwife made us feel comfortable, kept us informed throughout and most importantly listened to our wishes.

My contractions started 4days earlier and I was exhausted before we even began. The midwife encouraged me and helped me make informed decisions on the best route for my delivery.

When my labour didn't go to plan the midwife came with me to theatre and stayed with me and supported my decisions whilst I had an assisted delivery. I will forever be grateful to the midwife for their very professional but personal approach to my delivery.

I seriously feel like I could not have done it without them.

My experience was lovely and went as smoothly as it could have done with my situation. I found the staff to be helpful and respectful and willing to go the extra mile to support mums and I will defiantly go back if or when I have my next baby
