"Some staff can't be bothered"

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us. With regards to the dispatches programme on Channel 4, I can completely understand that you may have some concerns about clozapine after seeing the programme. We have a strict protocol on management of patients on Clozapine, with regular blood checks and routine checks completed every week and want to re-assure you about this, however if you remain concerned, can I encourage you to speak to your care team, or alternatively I am happy to meet with you to discuss this further.

It was pleasing to hear that our staff are good, are caring and that you look forward to the staff coming in each day. It was not so good to hear that there is a few that can't be bothered as we expect all staff to be compassionate and deliver a high standard of care to everyone.

We are working to minimise the use of restraint, moving to using more de-escalation techniques, so it would be useful to hear more about your thoughts on the use of restraints. You can provide this feedback either via patient opinion website or through contacting the patient experience team.
