"I would like to say how grateful I am to all concerned"

 I attended Basildon hospital at around 19. 30. At A&E I was assessed and had a CT scan in the early hours of the morning. To say I was in great pain would be an understatement. The scan concluded as I believed this was a kidney stone.

I was placed into CDU, and was given a pain killer which started to work within the hour. I was then visited by Urology consultant Mr Sheikh. Who placed me onto nil by mouth and went onto tell me that this stone was quite large at 9mm..I was then transferred to Burstead ward where throughout I was well liked after.

Mr Sheikh. managed to find me a theatre slot for about 22. 00 the next day. This meant that this gentleman had been on duty for probably more than 14, hour. I was the returned back to Burstead ward for recovery then discharged one evening a couple of days later.

I would like to say how grateful I am to all concerned for removing me from a great deal of pain and taken such good care of me. I must admit that doesn't surprise me as the wonderful staff have be taking excellent care on my numerous medical conditions and without whom I honestly believe I would not be here.
