"Car Parking Complaint"

Today I attended the Diana Princess of Wales hospital in Grimsby.

I arrived in plenty of time to allow me to park and after a short delay of about 8 minutes I got my car park ticket at 1450; 6 minutes later, yes 6 whole minute, I and another car user found a place to park.

My appointment was at 1510 and I was seen 15 minutes after this time which is good.

I then proceeded to pay for my parking and put my ticket in the machine at 1555 and was charged £3.50 which is absolutely scandalous and day light robbery.

Car parking at this hospital is dysfunctional because you do not know where the parking bays are once you have got your ticket.

Now, if you had an attendant to hand he could direct drivers to vacant bays and please don’t say that it is down to lack of funding.

I would like £1.50 paid back to me by you because of the time that I wasted trying to find a parking bay which took me over the hour by 5 minutes with a price tag of £1.50.

Please be advised this is the first time and the last that I will pay to park at this hospital.

I am disgusted to say the least!!!

Lastly, on a positive note, I was delighted with the service afforded me by my Consultant so hopefully after 5 years I may finally see light at the end of the tunnel.
