"I felt that I was in good hands"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

My appt was for 13. 00. I was picked up from reception on time and the nature of the procedure was fully discussed with me with a very friendly and socialable nurse. She told me what was going to happen, who was going to conduct the procedure...etc. I was very impressed and felt that I was in good hands. I was then taken into operating room where my details were all checked again before the procedure began. On the literature, it was stated I could be in hospital for up to 5hrs. I was out in 2-3hours which was great. The results were discussed with me and I was given appropriate material to read over
