"waiting times for gynaecological appointment"

I have been waiting 12 weeks for a gynaecological follow up appointment for a six week check up. I have had a scan and still waiting for the results from that. When you phone appointments line they just say you are in a queue of patients waiting to be seen. I think that they should stop taking new patients until that have sorted out the people who have been waiting so long for an appointment cause if I had knowno waiting times were so long I would have gone to a different hospital, it's not very good when you are in pain and you don't know what the course cause you've been waiting for scan results for so long
